"Would not recommend to stay here. The staff is not trained in hospitality and the hotel itself is WAY OVERPRICED!! Even at half cost I would not stay here again. No phone reception in the area and NO wifi in the rooms. Stayed on a business trip and one of three rooms had heavy mold stains and the room itself was not properly cleaned. It is also located right next to a noise highway, so you hear cars and noisy public transport at all times. Found out when paying that if you book on other sites...

"This property was amazing to stay at. The rooms are cute little cabins, with a very comfortable bed and two nightstands. Very minimalistic but it’s all you need and waking up to an unobstructed sunrise view of the volcano on Lake Atitlan. "We loved our peaceful stay here. It’s clear that the volunteers really care about guest experience - especially Nicole. Christian was also very helpful and kind throughout our stay - an invaluable asset to the hotel. Be warned that if mobility is an issue, you should not stay here as the cabins are hundreds of stairs from the restaurant. But you are rewarded with beautiful views of the lake - which, in our view, was worth it. Dinner was 150q per night, but it was an amazing three course meal - very worth it! There is free coffee and tea and the coffee was the best we have had on our trip so far in Guatemala. I would definitely stay here again! "
